Membership Engagement

Mike joined the Jvillage Network team after nearly four years serving as a synagogue executive director, most recently at Ohavi Zedek Synagogue in Burlington, Vermont. He currently co-chairs the synagogue’s long-range strategic visioning and planning process. Mike brings to Jvillage Network 15 years of experience in non-profit membership outreach, communications, management and fundraising. Prior to entering the field of Jewish communal service, he developed these skills working in politics and law.

Before moving to Vermont, Mike served as the executive director of Temple Emanu-El in Birmingham, Alabama. As a synagogue executive director, Mike enjoyed and benefited from his memberships in both the North American Association of Synagogue Executives and the National Association for Temple Administration.
